Tyris and Stilthius Menion managed to find themselves working for mercenaries even less principled than themselves and that wasn’t easy.
Fleeing their former employer, the brothers come upon a deserted town and the pair of children who seem to be the only inhabitants.
When the children refuse to leave despite warnings that the enraged mercenaries are in pursuit of the brothers, Tyris and Stilthius begin to suspect there is more going on than they first suspected.
